SUMMARY:Legal Services for Older Adults (60 ) in Johnson County at the Matt Ross Community Center
DESCRIPTION:Older adults age 60 and older who are residents of Johnson 
 County receive:\n\n\n\n	Legal consultation regarding estate planning and 
 advance directives\n	Education and assistance with powers-of-attorney\, 
 living wills and consumer advocacy\n	Advice regarding access to public 
 benefits such as housing\, Social Security\, Medicare and 
 Medicaid.\n\n\nServices are provided by Kansas Legal Services (KLS) on a 
 donation basis.\n\nMatt Ross Community Center\, 8101 Marty St.\, Overland 
 Park\, KS\n913-826-2830\n\nTo schedule an appointment\, contact the Matt 
 Ross Community Center. Be sure to provide the name of the older adult age 
 60  for whom the service is requested. Clients are not billed for 
 services\, but contributions are gratefully accepted.  Appointment are 
 available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following dates:\n\n\n	April 18\, 
 2024\n	May 16\, 2024\n	June 20\, 2024\n	July 18\, 2024\n	August 15\, 
 2024\n	September 19\, 2024\n\n\nThese appointments can be scheduled at 
 three locations throughout Johnson County: the Roeland Park Community 
 Center\, the Matt Ross Community Center\, and the Sunset Drive Office
