DESCRIPTION:From the Johnson County K-State Extension Office: The IRS's 
 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free basic tax return 
 preparation to qualified individuals who make $64\,000 a year or 
 less.\n\nThis program is offered with two options--walk in assistance 
 (Wednesdays\, Thursdays\, Saturdays at specific times) or drop-off 
 assistance. \n\nFor more information\, including a complete list of 
 documents you will need and hours for walk in assistance\, please check the 
 Johnson County K-State Extension Office website here.\n\nYou can also call 
 913-715-7000 on Wednesdays or Thursdays. \n\nIf you do not qualify for the 
 VITA program or are looking for other tax preparation options\, call the 
 United Way at 2-1-1. They will help you find tax preparation assistance in 
 your local community.
